Animals Water Bowl Project: This initiative provides safe drinking water to strays

The Animals Water Bowl Project, India, a project aimed at providing every stray animal with safe drinking water around the clock, throughout the year, will officially launch its first short film called “Water Bowl” on April 22 on its Facebook page and YouTube Channel.

Like humans, water is a basic necessity for all the animals and they also suffer from various health challenges like dehydration, skin infections, fever and viral infections because of the unavailability of drinking water. Many animals even die because of this issue. However, if we are able to provide them with safe drinking water these animals will be less prone to diseases and thus lead to a healthier environment for us to live in.

This thought led to the initiation of the Animals Water Bowl Project (AWBP) India. The short film is directed by the project’s founder, Lakshman Molleti. The film is said to be based on a true story. The film’s prelaunch took place on Saturday (April 21) at the Whiteboard Cafe in Hyderabad.

The project’s message, as stated on its website, is to improve animal welfare, which in turn has a positive impact on the environment and human welfare.

The project has distributed 800 bowls at various locations, organized 25 events, and currently operates in 16 locations and 2 states across the country.
