The Department of Commerce at the MOP Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai will be hosting their seventh annual workshop series on November 23, 2019 from 9 am to 1.30 pm on campus. The series of workshops will provide its students with a unique learning experience which enables them to realise their innate potential and mould their overall personality. The workshops will focus on the broad area of Man and Machines — Upskilling for the future.
The Department of Commerce at the college in addition to imparting domain knowledge provides practical exposure and hands on experience to the students. As a part of this endeavour, the department hosts its annual workshop series. The seventh edition this year will consist of 20 workshops on varied topics like Augmented and Virtual Reality, IoT and Digital Transformation and Design Thinking and a lot more. Experts from the industry will be present for the workshops. A total of 1000 students will benefit from the workshops.

Following the successful run of the series for the past six years, the department extends the benefit of these workshop sessions to students from other departments of MOP and students from other colleges in Chennai as well on December 14, 2019. MOP students have already registered for the workshops on November 23 at their college. For the workshops to be held on December 14, MOP will an online link in a few days where interested students can register.
