The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education (BIEAP) announced AP Inter Result 2019. The result was announced by the BIEAP Secretary in the presence of Ganta Srinivasan Rao, the Education Minister of the state.
The board had concluded the examination for Class XI on March 17 and for Class XII on March 19. This year more than 10 lakh students had appeared for the Inter board exams, out of whom 6.3 lakh have passed. The pass percentage for Class XII students is 72 per cent this year while that of the Class XI students is 60 per cent. The girls' pass percentage (XI- 64 per cent, XII- 75 per cent) is considerably higher than the boys' pass ratio (XI- 56 per cent, XII- 68 per cent) in both the results.
The Andhra Pradesh Board will open the review process soon. Students can apply for rechecking or revaluating of answer sheets by paying a nominal fee. The Board allows the candidates to apply for recounting on the payment of Rs 100 per paper and photocopy and re-verification of the answer book will be supplied on payment of Rs 600 per paper, the official website says. "The scripts are obtained from the camps and carefully scrutinised for any mistake in totalling, posting and omission of bits. If any discrepancy is noticed it shall be referred to the Authenticity committee for its opinion based on the report, corrections if any are carried out and the candidates are informed accordingly," says the official website.
The portals for re-verification will soon be opened for the students to apply online for the services. These are the steps you need to follow:
