Learn how to make process automation apps from Zoho, in six days flat. Here's how

Prajanma Das

Software solutions provider Zoho launched a course that will allow students to learn how to build process automation apps — for pretty much any industry or service needs —in six days flat. The course has been developed along with the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI). The six-day long course will be split into two parts — 36 hours will be dedicated to training the students on how to use Zoho Creator for building applications and 12 hours of soft skills training. The course will be available to anyone for Rs 4299. "We are providing students with an opportunity to learn how to create applications for process automation, a major requirement for any business in the age of digital transformation. There is always a gap between what the industry wants and what the students are taught. We also help the students choose the right courses. With Zoho Creator, students can easily translate a business need to an app quickly without facing programming complexities," said Hyther Nizam, Vice President, Product Management at Zoho.

Through this MoU, NSTI will offer a course in Zoho Creator, a low-code programming platform. Anyone with knowledge of basic programming concepts can enrol for the course titled Create and Operate Business Apps using Zoho Creator. "We have been conducting skill development courses for the past two years but we can only scale up to a certain limit. This partnership with a government agency like the NSTI will help us take the course to a larger audience."

Zoho has also set up a Centre of Excellence, a classroom facility with modern infrastructure, at the institute's Guindy campus. "NSTI and ZOHO along with ITK Education Services have pioneered in introducing the industry-relevant course at the NSTI campus," said H V Samvatsar, ISDS, Director, NSTI-MSDE. "This course helps the learners to effectively create mobile and web business apps using cloud computing. This is a joint certification programme and students will benefit from the globally-recognised certification. They can access gainful employment or start on their own by developing and publishing apps built on Zoho Creator."
