NEET 2019: For Kerala female topper, second time's the charm

In her second NEET attempt, Kerala's Hrudya Lakshmi Bose scored a total of 687 marks, securing the All India 31st rank

Hrudya Lakshmi Bose is the only Keralite to make it to the list of the top 20 NEET female toppers in the country. Scoring a total of 687 marks out of 720, she bagged the 31st rank in the country. 

This is Hrudya's second attempt in NEET. She scored 476 marks in the previous year, bagging the 31466th rank. She passed out of class XII from Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Kasaragod in 2018, with 96.4 per cent marks, emerging as the school topper. 

In the previous year, this 19-year-old had also cleared the JIPMER MBBS Entrance with an all India rank of 4875. In 2018, she also topped the Central University of Tamil Nadu's entrance for BSc (Textiles), secured the 10th rank in the university's entrance for Integrated MSc (Chemistry) and bagged the 11th rank for the Central University of Karnataka's entrance for Integrated MSc Physics.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released NEET result 2019. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 result is available on NTA's official website ntaneet.nic.in. NTA NEET 2019 result will also be available on mcc.nic.in. Nearly 15 lakh candidates who were arduously waiting for the NEET result can check the same online now. 

The National Testing Agency conducted NEET 2019 throughout the country on May 5, 2019, and on May 20, 2019, for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

The exam was held in Hindi, English, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. Last year Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had conducted the NEET and the result was declared on June 4.
