Students of Business Management Studies of Delhi University complained that they were not able to access even one mock test paper in three days of Phase 1 of the mock tests of the Open Book Examination because there were no question papers uploaded. When they reached out to their teachers they were told that it is a problem on the university's end and the teachers are as helpless as them.

The students logged in for three consecutive days — from July 27 to 29 — but there were no mock test papers for them to access. "Phase 1 was supposed to help the students get accustomed to the system and help them understand how to go about with the exam. But that obviously did not happen for us," said Rohan Kumar, a third-year student of BMS at the Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, DU. "We expected at least an old question paper to be uploaded on the portal but nothing was there. We called our teachers and they said that maybe we will get one slot on the last day — July 29 - but that did not happen either," he added.

Other students who tried to log in also faced difficulties over these three days. Harshita Runthla, a student of MSc Statistics at Lady Shri Ram College said that she could not see a test paper either. "We had two days slotted for the mock test but when I logged in, I did not find even one paper on Jul;y 27," she added.

Rohan also pointed out that the new format asks the examinee to upload each page of the answer sheets separately. "It is difficult to upload a compiled file in the first place. If we have to upload 40 to 50 pages of answer sheets then it becomes 40 times harder to upload," he added.
