The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday released its manifesto for the February 8 assembly elections here with 28-points programme.

The manifesto said the AAP government will come out with a 'Deshbhakti' curriculum and also speaks about long-pending demands of Delhi Jan Lokpal and Delhi Swaraj Bill along with the full statehood. The government, in August last year, had said that its Happiness Curriculum and Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum were already in place and on the same lines, the ‘Deshbhakti’ curriculum would be introduced to help students become “true patriots”.

The ‘Deshbhakti’ curriculum is aimed at achieving three important goals, the CM had announced earlier. "First, each and every child must feel pride for the nation. Children must be taught about the glories of the country. Second, each child must be made aware of their responsibility and duty towards the country. India has a hundred problems. We are poor, our farmers commit suicide. But who will solve these problems? It is us who will have to find solutions,” the CM told reporters in 2019.

Doorstep ration delivery, language status to Bhojpuri, the appointment of safari karamcharis have also found a place in AAP's election manifesto. The 28-point programme of the AAP also includes pursuing the central government for the inclusion of Bhojpuri into the 8th Schedule of the Constitution. AAP promises new appointment of Safai Karamcharis in the city and Rs 1 crore compensation to families of decreased Safai Karamcharis who die while performing their duty.

The party said it will ensure the doorstep delivery of ration card and also 24 hours market on pilot basis.
