Audyogik Shikshan Mandal (ASM) Group, India’s only B-school to offer a curriculum integrated with HBS Online courses, on Monday announced new, two-years full-time PGDM courses in Business Analytics; Big Data, International Finance, Logistics Management and Enterprise Management integrated with IBM, US CPA, Safeducate and SAP respectively.
These companies help in designing the course structure and their executives come as visiting faculty to guide the students enrolled in these courses, thus ensuring the promise of full industry integration is delivered. All the courses are AICTE approved and designed according to the current industry requisites.
According to Dr Sandeep Pachpande, Chairman, ASM Group, "Despite the analytics and data science job
openings in India exceeding a lakh, there is a dearth of specialized, industry-ready talent to fulfill this
growing demand or for students looking to skill themselves in this area. The US$160 billion, the Indian logistics industry is growing exponentially which means the current output of specialised talent from current options are not enough. With Indian companies looking out to grow and expand, demand for talent with international finance will also leapfrog. Besides, as India becomes one of the top five revenue-generating markets for foreign companies’ enterprise business, job opportunities will only upsurge. However, currently available options are short-term certifications only and inadequate.
