Sri Venkateswara Vedic University to offer new postgrad courses with Vedic herbal science, Vedic Maths and more
The new courses will be offered with Vedic herbal science, Vedic Mathematics, Vedic Astronomy, Vedic Ecology and Vedic Physiology
Sri Venkateswara Vedic University (SVVU) Vice Chancellor Prof S Sudarsan Sarma on Wednesday said that they were starting new PG courses from the academic year 2019-20. Addressing the media, he said that in an aim to collaborate ancient technology from Vedas with modern technology, the courses were started.
The VC said that ancient technology was not against modern technology and the courses were designed such a way that the syllabus was designed with the help of Vedic scholars and other scholars from the subjects like Botany, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology from other universities. When it comes to the faculty for the new courses, Prof S Sudaran Sarma said that for the first semester they will engage retired professors as guest lecturers and professors from other universities on a contract basis.

The new courses will be offered with Vedic herbal science, Vedic Mathematics, Vedic Astronomy, Vedic Ecology and Vedic Physiology. The candidates who passed their graduation with respect to the main subject in the new courses were eligible to apply. He said that they were following the rule of reservation in the admission process. The VC said that each PG course contained 15 seats and they were planning to provide hostel facility to the selected candidates. Interested candidates may get prospectus directly from the university or from the website. The last date to submit filled in applications extended to July 6 and entrance test for PG admissions will be held on July 9.

MSc Botany (with Vedic Herbal Science/Oshadi Vignan)
MSc Mathematics (with Vedic Mathematics/Veda Ganitha)
MSc Physics (with Vedic Astronomy/Khagola Vignan)
MSc Zoology (with Vedic Ecology/Vedic Physiology/Paryavarana Vignana)
MA in Economics
The last date to submit filled in applications extended to July 6. Two-hour-entrance test for PG admissions at 11 am on July 9
