Apart from owning a Hindu country of his own, the rape-accused self-styled godman Nithyananda Paramashivam also runs two universities and a Gurukul. One of these apparently has its presence in over 70 countries across the globe, according to Nithyananda's website.

Upon entering the website of the Nithyananda Hindu University, the first thing to catch most people's eye is that it offers you certification in yoga. This isn't any regular yoga, but Nithyananda Yoga, which according to the website is the 'the most authentic Yoga on the planet'. It also claims that practising this could help one develop extraordinary powers. However, there is no mention of what these powers are.

Of all the flabbergasting claims that the university's website makes, here's one that takes the cake — Nithyananda is the last living person who knows the Vedic education system. NHU is apparently, the largest Hindu University in the world. It also offers one graduation in Living Englightenment.

Now if you're a young person who is hellbent on developing superpowers, the best way out is to join the Nithyananda Gurukul. Even though the photographs show students clad in saffron, the gurukul claims that "old and redundant methods of learning are unheard in the Gurukul." Apparently, the students use tablets and laptops and are heavily dependent on Google to clear their doubts. Their current motto now is to impart this education system in every village in India.
