The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has released the First Round Allotment List for MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2026 for MBBS and BDS courses. The provisional allotment list, dated August 24, contains the college and course allotted to candidates based on their NEET UG 2026 rank, category and MP domicile status.

The allotment report covers 220 pages and includes candidate-wise details such as NEET All India Rank, NEET score, MP state rank, eligible category, allotted institute, course and allotted category/class.

MP NEET UG Round 1 Cutoff 2026: What the rank data shows

The opening-closing data provides an early picture of competition across government medical colleges. Among the major colleges, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore remained one of the most competitive choices. For the UR/X/OP category, allotments opened at an AI rank of 987 and closed at 8,072, with the corresponding NEET scores moving from 658 to 607.

At Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, the UR/X/OP range stood at 2,182 to 12,608, with scores ranging from 641 to 593.

Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior recorded a UR/X/OP opening rank of 1,944 and closing rank of 21,358. The score range was 644 to 574.

At Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur, the UR/X/OP range was 1,764 to 20,191, with scores falling from 646 to 576.

Other government colleges also showed a wider range. Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa closed at rank 27,903 for UR/X/OP, while Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Medical College, Vidisha closed at 31,086.

What candidates should do next

As per the revised counselling schedule, candidates allotted seats in Round 1 have to report to their allotted medical or dental college from August 25 to September 3, 2026, up to 6 pm, for document verification and admission. The same period is available for online resignation/cancellation at the college level. Candidates seeking upgradation must exercise the upgradation option at the time of admission; this option is available until September 3.

Candidates should check their individual allotment carefully and complete the admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.
