Ecole Intuit Lab, a renowned French educational institute of graphic design, strategy, digital creation and visual communication has partnered with The Minimalist, a creative solutions group based in Mumbai for spearheading a one-of-its-kind entrepreneurship programme for those with a creative bent of mind in the field of fashion, architecture, lifestyle, hospitality, fine arts and much more — because the world is their oyster. The Creative Entrepreneurship programme, a nine-month course commencing in March 2020 is especially aimed at creative professionals.

"The overall idea of this course is to help the creative professionals to leverage their full potential in entrepreneurship. There are a lot of creative people out there who wish to start their own businesses, they don't know how to go about the entire process — how to build a team, raise funding, identify their market size — so this programme is designed in a way that will help these professionals to start their ventures, or make their ventures more succesfull, get more clarity in terms of what they need to do. People from all the creative backgrounds such as interior design, jewellery design, graphic design, public relations, any other marketing or creative fields can join," explains Chirag Gander, the co-founder of The Minimalist.

The modules include detailed discussions on strategy for entrepreneurs, the power of social media, finances and funding for your venture, branding design, how to lead a collaborative team and every other aspect that a professional needs to know about to start or successfully run their own ventures.

The nine month course includes 10 modules:
Two weekends/month at school
• Timings: 10 am to 4 pm each day
Total 20 weekends
• Master Talk by Entrepreneurs every weekend for two hours each

The programme will be conducted on weekends at the institute’s Mumbai campus. Mentors include renowned names from the industry like Debashis Sarkar, Founder of Proliferator Advisory & Consulting and Harsh Kumar, Angel Investor and Investment banker. Besides a unique start-up zone, participants will also receive constructive feedback and a clear road map of how creative and businesses processes are to be carried out. By the end of the programme, participants will have a blueprint for their ideas and strategies to build a successful venture. On completion of the programme, a certificate from Ecole Intuit Lab and The Minimalist will be awarded to participants, who are expected to become well-versed with the knowledge and experience of key issues around creative innovation, entrepreneurship and their practical application.

Clément Derock, Co-founder, Ecole Intuit Lab added, "It is a part of our school's core DNA to help students convert their talents into flourishing careers. Our UG and PG programmes nurture that professional mindset and therefore starting the entrepreneurship programme was an obvious choice to hand hold young entrepreneurs to take the next step. This programme will help aspiring entrepreneurs to have a new-age creative approach to overcome the challenges of this dynamic world."

Those interested in registering for the programme will be required to draft and send a 350-500 words letter of purpose as well as undergo a personal interview with the senior management. Admissions have begun from January 13, 2020.
