Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TGCHE) has confirmed the official dates for TG CPGET Counselling 2026 for PG admissions in various Telangana public universities. Students with a valid CPGET rank are eligible to participate in the counselling. As the CUET PG process has almost concluded across universities in the country, TGCHE has decided to initiate the state-level PG admission process. The registration is scheduled to begin on August 24, and the certificate verification process is completely online.

Seat allotment result: September 14, 2026
Reporting: September 15 to 18, 2026
Second phase counselling starts: September 19, 2026
The detailed schedule for second phase counselling will be published after September 18, 2026.
This year, OU will allow students to make corrections to their registration forms and rectify defects in uploaded certificates. Students must email the CPGET counselling helpdesk on or before September 5 to request the rectifications.
Through the CPGET counselling, PG seats will be filled in OU, KU, Telangana University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University, etc. The counselling applies to vacant seats in universities as well as their affiliated colleges. The list of colleges and courses will be published soon. The official counselling website, cpgetadmissions.com, will be launched by August 23.
