Have you ever come across mothers who once in a while blissfully look at the baby clothes of their children and shoes that fit their once tiny feet perfectly? Now, what if they had memorabilia that actually reminded them of how tiny those palms and hand once were? So, if you're a new-gen parent who wishes to have something of that sort and you happen to be in Hyderabad, all you have to do is reach out to Anila.

Anila makes cast impression memorabilia for people of all age groups. However, her clients are mostly young parents who want impressions of their baby's feet and palms. "It all began in 2013 when my sister had a baby girl. We had seen pictures of these impressions online and wanted one for the child," says Anila. But however, they couldn't find an artist nearby. "So, I decided to create something on my own," says this 29-year-old who always dreamt of being an entrepreneur.

It wasn't a walk in the park, by the way. She had to research a lot and find the perfect material that didn't create allergies. "I had to be extra careful. A small mistake would hurt the baby and leave them with a scar," she says. Now, she has a different range of materials, using which she creates these models. In fact, there is even a soft material that resembles a baby's skin using which she creates impressions.

Six years down the line, Anila has made around 2,500 of these impressions. Also, did we mention that her list of clients includes Sara Ali Khan, Nani and Rakul Preet Singh? Also, these impressions are unbreakable. This year, Anila also introduced a new range of products — jewellery made out of breast milk pulp and umbilical cord. "Here, all that the mothers have to do is courier the raw materials to us. We make jewellery out of it, the way they want," she says.
