EO, as it is referred to, is a global group established in 58 countries worldwide and it was founded in 1987 by a group of young entrepreneurs. At its core, EO is a collection of like-minded entrepreneurs focused on business growth, personal development and community engagement. It is known to be the only peer to peer network exclusively for entrepreneurs.
Over the last 30 years, entrepreneurs from across the world have had the EO to fall back on when they have faced any kind of strife. Currently, the EO has over 12,000 members. EO provides a platform for entrepreneurs to come together to discuss their plans and their strategies, young entrepreneurs can look up to older, more experienced ones to get guidance. When it comes to collaboration, EO is the best place too. Sudhakar, the EO Chennai representative said that the organisation also follows strict criteria when it comes to accepting members.
"Learning and sharing core values is EO's main objective. We also have training sessions for our members and also sessions and lectures. We invite top professionals from across the world to come and spend time with the members," Sudhakar said. Their latest guest was Ishwar Chugani, CEO and managing director of Giordano Middle East and a member of the Management Committee of Giordani International, Hong Kong who has also been a member of EO for many years.
"Some of the members end up becomes life long friends as well. Its a great platform to be part of and is extremely beneficial too," Chugani said.
