Inspiring quotes helped cheer up this Chennai teen, now she is spreading the smile with her Little Packages

Almost all of us have hit a juncture in life where we didn't know the way forward. We felt lost — like a rudderless ship that has met a storm. People deal with situations like these in their own way but a little bit of inspiration always helps. Don't you think so? M Sai Krishna Priya, an 18-year-old from Vanagaram in Chennai has planned to help out with your daily dose of inspiration with her set of quote cards, Little Packages.
Off to a start: Priya has designed the logo herself
Priya hit a rough patch when she was in Class XII and the only things that cheered her up a bit were quotes. "I used to get stressed out often. I was not keeping good health either. One of my teachers and my uncle sent me quotes regularly to cheer me up. I thought I should share this positivity with others as well," says Priya. She had missed a year and graduated high school only in September and is now taking a gap year to explore her creative side. "Quotes have always had a strong impact on me. It always brought a wide smile on my face. It gave me the strength and confidence to deal with whatever I was going through at that point."

She has always been inspired by quotes. "This happened around four years back. One day, my mom was sharing things about her life with me and that's when I found out how similar we were. That year, for her birthday, I made her a set of quote cards," she says, adding, "She had to take a card every day to work so that it will make her day. That is when the concept of Little Packages hit me."
Good vibes: A few quote cards she'd designed
Priya has designed her logo herself but she works with a designer to come up with designs for the cards. "I had started off by planning to come up with cards for patients but then I thought I should come up with content for everyone. Everybody requires happiness, confidence and much more to cheer them up even though they are not going through a rough time at that point. I want to produce content for everyone from kids to old people. I will have a series of set cards on topics like confidence, motivation and more. I thought of personalising cards where you choose the topics and I come up with content on that. I am also planning to make cards in bulk for ceremonies like weddings." That's not just it. Priya is also working on boxes of cards especially for the corporate employees and those who work in a high-stress environment. Even though she has not decided a pricing structure, she assures that her merchandise will be affordable.
