How strong you are will determine how successful you will be. The word strong here does not stop with just the physical aspect, it includes the mental aspect as well. Strength can be equated to something called courage, which is a vital factor that goes all the way to prove the worth of an individual in life situations. Life throws up unlimited opportunities for all, but it does not come easy. Many a time it comes with a lot of challenges. One needs the courage to stand up and face such challenges and overcome them with ease to be successful. 

Courage as a trait will be a good resource for the youth to fall back on when they face a tricky situation which needs them to flex their personality to stand out from the crowd. But the reality is not as promising as we find that many youngsters seem to lack the courage to take decisions, handle pressure or stressful conditions. There is a lot of inhibition and nervousness among them in such demanding situations. If they are to make an impact by emerging successful in a professional set up, then it is very necessary that the youth learn to build courage.

The following points will throw light on the manner in which courage can be developed:

-Set your mind free from conditions: Most often there is a tendency to work within a frame or boundary that is based on conditions of the self. One must try to break from such limiting conditions and set their mind free to act based on real-time experiences with intuition and confidence.

-List your fear factors: Fear is not something that is unnatural, but not knowing how to overcome it is a problem. One must list the nature of fear that they are impacted by so that they can work systematically to overcome it with an appropriate response. 

-Do not take humiliation to heart: The basic issue related to facing obstacles or hurdles is that every setback or negative feeling is often times taken personally, which causes damage to the total personality. Nothing is permanent in this world; every little thing shall pass.

-Act but don’t react: The situation in which one faces challenges calls for action to overcome it and not a weakening stature of reacting to the negativities attached to it. There can be no progress if there is no action. When deciding to act, you will get confidence that will make you feel better prepared to face challenging circumstances.

-Amplify your positive thoughts: Courage can be developed when you amplify your thoughts to give you the power of action. The motive to face fear and stand with conviction comes only if the thoughts are aligned in such a manner that it leads to positive action.
