The wait continues for all the students who took the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final exam this May. While the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is yet to confirm the result date, hints from trusted quarters point to a release around July 3 or 4.

Dhiraj Khandelwal, former Central Council Member (CCM) of ICAI, shared on X that, based on past trends, candidates should expect the results during the first week of July. “For those asking about the May 25 exam results...tentatively around July 3rd or 4th,” he wrote.

Looking at historical data, this projection holds weight. As noted by The Indian Express, the May session results were declared on July 11 last year, July 5 in 2023, and July 15 in 2022. The only significant deviation was in 2021 and 2020 (likely due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic).

Adding to the timeline pressure is ICAI’s placement calendar. As The Indian Express highlights, registrations for the August–September 2025 campus placement drive will begin on July 10. This means results are expected before that date, allowing newly qualified candidates to register on time.

Importantly, those who cleared the November 2024 exam but missed the February–March 2025 campus drive will also be eligible to apply this time.

To qualify for the CA Final May 2025 exam, candidates must score a minimum of 40 per cent in each paper and an overall 50 per cent in each group. To check their results, candidates will need to log into icai.nic.in using their six-digit roll and registration numbers.

In 2024, 20,446 students qualified. Among the top scorers were Shivam Mishra with 500 marks (83.33%), Varsha Arora with 480 marks, and joint AIR 3 holders Kiran Manral and Ghilman Saalim Ansari with 477 marks each (79.50%).
