Kshitij, the annual techno-management symposium of IIT Kharagpur will be held online this year, for the first time since its inception in 2004. EdexLive is the official online media partner for the event, which is the largest symposium of its kind in Asia, which will be held on January 16 and 17.
The first session of the fest, YouTubers Round Table will be held at 4 PM on January 16. Three very popular Indian YouTubers — Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern, Rony Dasgupta aka The Rawknee and comedian Satish Ray will take part in this interactive session.
The second session for the day will feature the filmmaker couple Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. It will be held at 5.30 PM on January 16. Nitesh Tiwari, a filmmaker, screenwriter, and lyricist, is well known for his work in Bollywood. His works include award-winning films like Dangal, Chichore and Chillar Party. On the other hand, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, on the other hand, made her directorial debut with the 2016 comedy-drama Nil Battey Sannata, which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director. She has also won the Filmfare Award for Best Director for her film Bareilly Ki Barfi.
The third session, which will be held at 7 PM on January 17 and will feature Commonwealth Games medal-winning artistic gymnast Dipa Karmakar. She is one of the five women gymnasts in the world to have successfully executed the Produnova vault. She also bagged the fourth place in Women's vault in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
