The Pondicherry University (PU) is conducting Entrance Examinations on September 18, 29, 20, 2020 for admissions to various PG, PG Integrated and PhD programmes for the academic year 2020-21.
According to a University release on Saturday, the examinations for about 90 programmes are being conducted all over India at 40 cities in 73 venues. The examinations are being conducted using Computer Based Testing Methods.
More than 30,200 candidates are appearing for the exams which are scheduled in nine sessions for three days. Due care is taken to ensure pandemic protection and safety norms as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/ guidelines issued by Government of India.
All candidates appearing for the entrance examination are allowed only with face mask and after thermal scanning, hand sanitization, etc. Social distancing measures are strictly followed at all exam centres.
