Days after UGC allowed universities to chart out their plans for academics and exam-related issues, the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) has constituted a Students Committee For Recommendations And Examination (SCRAE) to discuss, among other issues, the mode of examination.

The committee will discuss the study material availability, teaching methodology as well as the academic calendar. A summary of the discussion will be submitted as part of recommendations to the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University as well as the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

"There have been multiple issues such as disruption in the learning process as well as in the terminal semester examinations because of the closure of University of Delhi amid the coronavirus pandemic and the national lockdown. SCRAE will put out students' recommendations on issues such as entrance examination, date of form release as well as the period of conducting the entrances among others," DUSU President Akshit Dahiya said.

Dahiya will also head the committee along with 14 other student representatives of the University, including the DUSU Vice-President and DUSU Joint Secretary.
