202 schools converted into Home Quarantines in Bihar's Munger

Two hundred two government schools, two each in 101 panchayats have been converted into "Home Quarantines" in this district to accommodate the suspected Corona patients on the primary-stage.

Civil Surgeon Dr Purushottam Kumar said that the family members of the suspected patients, in case of admission in the Home-Quarantines, will themselves provide their wards food, clothes, water and bed-sheets as well as other required materials.

"The government is effectively implementing social distancing and isolation measures to contain the spread of COVIND-19 in the district," the Civil Surgeon informed. He said that the district administration has set up "Hunting Line" with landline telephone No 06344-228442 at the district health department with five connections through which the people can seek medical advice regarding COVID-19 from the doctors , medical, district health officials.

Medical advice about any ailing patients can also be shared through these numbers, the Civil Surgeon said. He said within last 48 hours more than eighty information regarding suspected Coronavirus patients in the district were received through these Hunting Lines.

Medical team members of the Rapid Action Task Forces have moved to trace the suspected Corona patients who would be sent to the newly created "Home Quarantines, he said adding that the team will also arrange to collect their blood-samples if needed for confirmation of COVID-19.
