If you were not being able to access your Gmail, Google Docs or play a video on Youtube, you are not alone. Google services like Gmail, Docs and Youtube were down for 25 minutes across the globe from around 5.30 pm IST. Users across the world reported problems with Gmail, Google Drive, the Android Play Store, Maps, Meet, YouTube, Classroom and more.

While the search engine worked fine, Gmail kept denying access to users with the message "Google can't find your email id". Some users were also greeted with, "We’re sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the G Suite Status Dashboard for the current status of the service". YouTube users faced the same issue. While the email service is back on track it still says that Google is not able to access the address book and this problem may persist through the process. Google has not come out with an explanation for the global outage happened yet.

Users had the same issue on Google Docs. The error message said, "Google Docs encountered an error. Please try reloading this page, or coming back to it in a few minutes. To learn more about the Google Docs editors, please visit our help centre."
