The DMK students' wing on Saturday warned that it would be forced to launch a massive protest by students if the Central and State governments failed to resolve student-related issues soon. In a statement here, CVMP Ezhilarasan, MLA and secretary, Students' wing, said despite appeals by many, the Central government has continued to conduct NEET examination for students from Tamil Nadu, leading to the suicide of many. The Centre had ignored the unanimous resolution adopted by the State Assembly seeking exemption for NEET examination. Also, the Anna Centenary Library has been mismanaged for a long time, he added. The library that is so useful for students, has now turned into a place totally ignored by the State government. The DMK students wing demanded all repair works in the library to be completed within a week. It also demanded for free bus pass to be issued to students.
