Following the passing of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, there have been protests all over India. However, the protests at the Jamia Millia Islamia quickly turned violent when the police intervened

Police at Jamia Millia
On a day when hundreds of students of the Jamia Millia Islamia were beaten and arrested, the internet was quick to form opinions of its own regarding the issue, and not everyone was sympathetic towards the students. The outburst on social media, especially Twitter, highlighted the hypernationalistc attitude of the people. Here are some of the comments supporting the actions of the Delhi Police:
Bloody traitor why it pains in your bloody traitor asshole? Whatever the Delhi police is doing I fully support their action be thankful that officers like me are far retired or else traitors like you would never had the second day to see the world as by now you would be in hell https://t.co/XRCubEkNdm
