JEE Main 2020 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA has
released official notification along with the dates. Through JEE Main examination candidates
can get admission in B Tech, B Arch., BE courses. This examination is conducted two times in a
year i.e. January and April. Many CFITs, NITs and IITs institutes provide admission based on JEE
Main scores.
JEE Main 2020 Application Form Details
Application form for January session will be available from September 2, 2019. For April session it will be started from February 7, 2020. Candidates can fill their JEE Main application form through online mode. Candidates are advised to fill their application form carefully to avoid any kind of mistake. The application form can be filled till September 30, 2019, for January session and March 7, 2020, for April session.
Registration fee will be submitted through online mode or SBI- E -Challan. Correction facility in
the application form will also be provided by the authorities.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have to pass 10th and 12th class examination to appear in the JEE Main
2020 examination.
There is no age and attempt limit in JEE Main examination.
Diploma holders and the candidates those are appearing in their 12th class will also be
eligible to apply.
Pattern and Syllabus for JEE Main 2020 Examination
JEE Main examination will be conducted on 6th - 11th January for January session, and 3rd -
9th April for April session.
It will be held through online mode, however drawing test in paper II will be held
through offline mode.
Objective type questions will be asked in the examination while drawing test in paper II
will contain subjective type questions.
Paper 1 will be of 360 marks while paper 2 will be of 390 marks.
Questions will be asked from the subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
JEE Main 2020 Admit Card
Candidates will have to book their slot a few days before the release of admit card. Admit card for January session will be available on December 6, 2019, and on March 16, 2020, for April session. It will be released through online mode on NTA JEE Main website.
JEE Main 2020 Result and Counselling
JEE Main 2020 result will be published on 31 st January 2020 for January session, and on April 30, 2020, for the April session. Candidates can check their result through online mode. Candidates who will score the cut off marks will be eligible to attend the counselling procedure. In the counselling, procedure seats will be allotted to the candidates and document verification procedure will be done. Candidates will have to procedure required original documents at the day of counselling without verification admission will not be provided to the candidate.
