This South Korean institute is setting up NEET coaching classes across Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu School Education Department in collaboration with South Korea-based firm ETOOS Education's Indian branch EtoosInida has started the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) online coaching classes for exclusively English medium section students who are studying in government schools, in Coimbatore district.

The inauguration function was held at NEET centre of Coimbatore Cloth Merchant Association (CCMA) government higher secondary school on Wednesday and the institute experts have given training about the introduction of NEET, how to prepare NEET examination, etc to the class XI, XII students. Earlier, EtoosIndia general manager Ashish Singh told reporters, "We are a South Korea based educational institute and it has been functioning since 2010 in India. A lot of students are getting training for the competitive exam from us and passed the exam. But, the state of Chattisgarh and Tamil Nadu students are struggling to pass the NEET exam every year. To help those state students, we will conduct the online coaching class to them without any fees and the Tamil Nadu government has also given permission us."

"At present, we will give online NEET coaching class to the three districts of students namely Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode. The state government has set up 12 online coaching centres across the state. The training will be given only English medium students who are studying in government schools. We will generate a separate identification number and password to the 12 coaching centres. Using this, in charge of NEET coaching centre can open our online portal and take the for NEET video lessons, educational materials, online test, skills improving tips for providing the training to the students. We have allotted 400 hours to each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, to give training students. Teachers can give the training anytime, depend on their time convenient. If students following our study method properly, they will pass in the NEET exam," he added.

"As the students have not any awareness about the NEET exam, they have not passed in the exam. At the same time, the proper training will provide the students, they can pass easily," he said.

An official said, "In Coimbatore district, as many as 851 students have registered their name at the schools, to get NEET coaching from the school education department this year. Last year, only 550 students were attending in last NEET exam. Now, the teachers are conducting the NEET special exam to the students every Friday at the school level to get more score in NEET exam. Besides, we have set up four NEET coaching online centres in Coimbatore including government schools of CCMA, Ashokapuram, Othakalmandapam and Mettupalayam. At present, as many 60 English medium students have registered their name to participate in online NEET classes. For this, we will prepare a separate schedule to conduct online classes."
