Delhi University Entrance Test 2020 dates released: Here's how and where you can register

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule of Delhi University entrance test (DUET) 2020 along with other important schedules for the examinations conducted by the agency. The DUET 2020 registrations will begin from March 2, 2020. The application forms will be available on du.ac.in.

Candidates who wish to take admissions in entrance based UG and PG programmes at DU will be offered a seat based on their performance in DUET 2020. The mode of application is entirely online. Candidates who wish to appear in the entrance test can register themselves and can fill DU application form 2020 before the last date which is March 31. The admit card of DUET 2020 will be released on April 30 for the candidates who will successfully register themselves for the entrance test within the given dates.

DUET 2020 will be conducted from June 2 to June 9, 2020 in various exam centres across the country. The dates of entrance examination will vary depending upon the various UG and PG courses that are being offered. Further, the results are scheduled to be announced on June 25 both in the official website of Delhi University and NTA.

Last year, the examination was conducted in three sessions – morning, noon and evening from June 30 to July 5, 2019. Candidates can opt for the exam centre of their choice. The exam was held last year at 18 centres including Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Delhi (NCR) and more.

Apart from the NEET-UG exam, all the others conducted by NTA will be computer-based. NTA has established a countrywide network of Test Practice Centres (TPCs) across India to familiarise aspiring candidates. All students have an opportunity to practice and have first-hand experience of taking “Computer Based Test (CBT)” before the exam. About 4000 Schools/ engineering colleges with computer centres will be available on every Saturday/Sunday starting from September 1, 2019 and more schools/ engineering colleges with computer centres will be added soon. The candidates can choose the nearest TPC. This facility is available free of cost as a support measure, especially for candidates hailing from remote and rural areas.
