Ever imagined your flight cabin crew breaking into the most exquisite Yoga asanas, mid-air? Well, if you are wondering what that flying experience would be like, we do hope you are on board on one of the SpiceJet flights tomorrow!

The airlines celebrating International Yoga Day on June 21, is going to have its crew members perform 'onboard Yoga', thanks to training from the Isha Foundation. One crew staff member on each of the select flights will be engaging their passengers in 'travel-friendly yoga', on what SpiceJet calls their much awaited 'D-Day.'

Yoga Day: SpiceJet Crew Members getting trained for June 21 celebrations

The collaborative celebrations - High on Yoga@35000 feet - is the airlines' idea to gift "the unique and powerful science" to its flyers, according to Ajay Singh, CMD of SpiceJet. "On-board yoga is near to our heart as it gives us the unique privilege of showcasing our country’s rich heritage (of yoga) globally," he adds.

But we aren't done yet. The yoga asanas that would be presented on the Delhi to Cochin, Bagdodra, Bengaluru, Goa and Pune flights, will be all about the "psychological well-being" of the passengers. 'Neck & Shoulder Practice' and 'Nadi Shuddhi' will help you relax those stiff muscles and help you access inner peace in your short journey, via your own pranic energies - who knew they flew with you too?!

Nevertheless, SpiceJet and their Isha Foundation trained crew members promise you a "balanced system and psychological wellbeing" before you get off at your destination. (And no, there are no refunds if you land stressed anyway).

If you are one of the lucky ones who will be getting served your very own overpriced hot coffee with a side of 'Yoga on the go' this International Yoga Day, we do hope the journey helps you find the perfect balance between your caffeine addiction and the path to inner peace! Happy flying!
