The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2018 committee will conduct special OJEE for BTech and lateral entry to BTech, MBA, and MCA on July 22. As per the notification of the OJEE-2018, the candidates are required to apply online for the test between June 25 and July 13.
The candidates will be allowed to download candidates from July 18 and the examination will take place on July 22. Results of the test will be declared on July 25.
Download of rank cards, online registration and filing of choices for the candidates will take place between July 27 and July 29.The first round allotment of seats will be done on July 30 after which the document verification will be made on August 1 and 2. The final allotment will be on August 3.
Students have been asked to visit www.ojee.nic.in and www.odishajee.com to get more details on the test and apply online.
“For BTech, the syllabus will be as per JEE (main) 2018 on OJEE 2018, while for lateral entry to BTech, MBA/MCA the syllabus will be same as OJEE 2018,” officials said. Candidates having rank in JEE main 2018 and OJEE 2018 are not required for lateral entry to the said courses, they said.
Plus II e-admission dates revised
The Directorate of higher education has revised datelines for the e-admission into various higher secondary schools or junior colleges for Plus II courses. As per the revised dates, the last date for applying online and filling of Common Application Form available on www.samsodisha.gov.in has been extended till June 22. The date of submission of application at SAMS resources centres is June 23. The first round merit list will be published on June 29, while the admission of students in the first selection will take place between July 2 and July 5. The second selection list will be published on July 10 for which the admission will take place on July 11 and 12.
