Pravasi Bharathiya Divas, that's how they technically call NRI Day. Here are 5 things that could annoy you about 'NRI behaviour'

raIn a country like India that is known for its diversity, every state offers a new set of cultures that one ought to adapt to. We can only imagine how different it may be for a kid who is born and raised abroad and visits India for the first time. Let's face it — it gets a little annoying when they start picking points to compare the two worlds. If you've witnsessed something like that, here are some things you can show your 'Pardesi' cousins or friends on  National NRI Day.

Everything and anything they spot is 'dirty'

Health and hygiene goals turn into nightmares for them in India. And it's a tough job for others to keep everything as clean as they expect- dusty India. Even after you put in the effort, they trust their sanitiser above everything under the Sun.

Yo! Do they really need a fork and spoon for Dosa

Okay! This can irk any dosa-lover for logistical reasons. Like, how do you even eat Dosa with a fork?  Well, this happens if the NRI kids do not go through the 'NRI guide to living in India'.

Drama alert: They can't handle the dust

Remember your cousins walking around like they are 'straight outta Interstellar'?

Where's the X-Box bro?

Walking around with a gadget listening to podcasts and gadget gaming is all that they do to keep them inside that introvert circle. You asking them to get out and explore "Incredible India" does not help much

Too spicy to handle!

Don't think you have impressed them with your cooking skills. Whatever you cook will be too spicy for them. All you need is a pinch of chilli powder to disappoint them, after which they might spend hours in the loo.
