'Odisha School Monitoring App' to be used to monitor regular academic activities of primary schools

Online monitoring of regular academic activities of primary schools across the State will be done using 'Odisha School Monitoring App' from Monday.

Project director of Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA) Bhupendra Singh Punia said the State Government has released the second version of the new app on which list of schools and survey questionnaire will be sent to all district education officers, district project coordinators, block education officers and other field functionaries concerned from August 27.

The app was launched in June this year. The school monitoring and remediation programme will be carried out through the new version of the app on the basis of the survey questionnaire.

The state government has developed the mobile app with the help of National Informatics Centre (NIC) for online monitoring and inspection of schools as well as performance tracking of teachers and students at the primary level. Using this app, officials of the School and Mass Education department will regularly monitor activities of elementary schools during their field visit.
