Avengers: Infinity War has hit the screens across the world on April 27
The fateful day is already upon us: Avengers: Infinity War has hit the screens across the world on Friday. The movie, which took essentially a decade in its making, is the amalgamation of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and promises to represent a massive turning point in the franchise. Because of this, fans already had an expectation that many characters will die in this movie.
In case you are somehow not aware, here goes the plot of Infinity war:
Thanos, a very powerful alien from a planet called Titan, is out on a quest to locate all six of the Infinity Stones, which are cosmic artefacts that grant their owner Godlike powers. Thanos' ultimate goal is to collect all those stones and essentially become omnipotent, following which he wants to wipe out half the life in the universe.
Of course, standing in his way are basically all the Marvel heroes: The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and Wakanda, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange, and it definitely seems highly unlikely that each one of them is going to survive.
Now that you know what is at stake here, no more spoilers.
