Adecco Group India conducts a program named Way to Work. It is a global initiative from Adecco to authorize youngsters with the skills and experience necessary to shape the future world. This initiative aims to help young talented minds define their career objectives, find the right job with quality work experience, which will kick-start their career.
The Adecco Way to Work programme began in 2013 which had the aim to solve problems related to youth unemployment and global talent mismatch. It consists of 4 programs, including, the CEO for One Month, Adecco Experience Work Day, Internship Opportunities and Career Centre.
The CEO for One Month, launched in Norway (2011), it became an international Adecco Group initiative, which even included, one Global ‘CEO for One Month’ position working with the Group CEO. This unique programme, now in its fifth year, creates opportunities for candidates to step into the shoes of business leaders in 47 countries within the Adecco Group’s global network.
The initiative has a record number of over 2,00,000 future leaders who have applied to this year’s edition of CEO for One Month internship across Adecco offices globally. This time it is up by 72% from 2017, that had seen over 1,17,000 applications. In India alone, Adecco had seen more than 19,500 applicants for the CEO for one month 2018 edition. Adecco visited 45 colleges across 16 cities in India for selecting the candidates.
The position would include a salary of 2000 Euro (1,61,335/-INR) awarded in order to support the successful candidate’s education and development. Selected ‘CEOs for One Month’ will also receive ongoing guidance and professional opportunities from the Adecco Group through the alumni group.
Currently, the 2018 edition's selection process has almost been completed. The CEO for One Month 2018 finalist will be announced on May 23 in India and the finalist will begin his/her assignment in June.
