For Central Board of Secondary Education Board students of Kerala who might have lost or got their academic documents damaged in the recent floods, the board has offered to provide their digital versions.
The CBSE, on Monday, said that a number of measures have been specified to ensure that students, irrespective of their passing year, have access to documents such as mark sheets, passing and migration certificates. To the students of 2016-18 batches, the board is sending login-id and password of Parinam Manjusha or DigiLocker, a digital repository of academic records, on their mobile number provided with Class X and XII data.
The students of 2004-2015 who did not provide mobile numbers at the time of class and even those in later batches who did not provide their numbers or changed it later, can link their accounts to Aadhar and get their digital documents by providing their roll number, class and year of examination.
Students who don't possess Aadhaar or don't remember their roll number may approach to their schools directly or through their relatives to register themselves in order to get login credentials of the digital repository, the CBSE has also said.
In addition, the board has also decided that all applications for extension of affiliation and up gradation will be processed immediately, provided the school has been running for the last five years and there is no complaint against the school.
