Dual camera phones or nothing — isn't that the norm among the youth? Taking hints from the trend, Intex Technologies, launched a phone — ELTY Dual — on December 6, 2017. It won't be an exaggeration to say that this phone is one of the most affordable dual front camera phones in the country.
This 4G-Volte Smartphone is also the first to accommodate the 32-bit Quad Core Spreadtrum 9850 chipset. Coming back to the camera features, Sharad Aggarwal, Product Manager at Intex Technologies says, "We have conducted a survey in the Delhi University colleges with over 300 students. Almost everyone was surprised to see so many features on this phone at such low and affordable price."
The phone came out after months of research during which the primary concern was to bring the price down. "We were told that this phone, with these kinds of features, cannot be launched at a price below 10k. But that turned out to be a challenge that we decided to overcome," he added.
To prove the same, a photo walk was organised in the picturesque streets of Pondicherry where amazing photos were clicked from the devices' camera.
Ms, Nidhi Markanday, Director, Intex, had something on the similar lines. "In recent times, the camera has become a critical deciding feature for the consumers and with ELTY DUAL, Intex has brought another tech marvel for the discerning consumers and also created a new Sun-7k category of dual camera smartphones in the market. This is going to be a game changer with its top-notch camera qualities."
So, what are these features and they have been going on about? With an 8MP+2MP front camera with flash and 8MP Rear with flash, it looks pretty promising.
Bokeh effect - This creates a blur effect in the images helping you capture expressions very closely. Adding to that, you can change the focus and blur position even as the photo rests in your gallery.
Background change effect - With Intex ELTY Dual, the background can be changed in a mere four clicks. Users can easily add, change or edit photos by changing the background without going through a formal photoshop
Audio pic - Forget videos, this phone will allow you to add music to your pictures for up to 10 seconds
Another interesting feature includes smile shutter that captures images when someone smiles at the camera. Dermabrasion allows you to remove uneven line scars and even acne from the skin. With face slimming and eye enlarging features, you really do not need an app to take that perfect picture.
The smartphone comes with 16GB ROM and is expandable up to 128 GB. The device comes with G sensor, proximity, and light sensor and is available in Black and Champagne colours.
