Check out Heel the World, an app that allows young women to network with each other and make friends without sounding like Tinder

This new app from Aisle helps like-minded women connect with each other and network in a world that's increasingly becoming more and more socially impervious — and unsafe for women

The big city can be quite a lonely place, especially when there is no one around to talk to, no shoulder to cry on, and no one with that extra dose of positivity to brighten your dull day. But not for long! Whip out your smart phone and download the Heel the World (HTW) app. Yes, ‘heel’ the world. Aisle, a networking company that’s an exclusive community of single Indians looking for meaning relationships, has created this fun networking app exclusively for women, where they can connect with other like-minded women.

Signing up for this app is quite easy. All you have to do is log in using your Facebook account and choose any three from 16 communities on the app that include pet lovers, entrepreneurs, and travel bees. Bivin Varkey Benny, Director, User Relations, Aisle, explains, "You can browse through profiles of other users and ‘like’ the profiles of those you feel you might have a connection with. You’re connected with them as soon as they hit ‘like’ on your profile. From then on, you’re set to chat with your new-found friend."

In this vast world, finding people with similar likes as you shouldn’t be as hard as it seems. Let’s take a look at how the HTW app was a boon to Jaicy, a pet parent living in Bengaluru. When it was time for a vacation, she had no one around to take care of her guinea pig, Brandy. Thanks to the app, she found a few pet parents who were more than happy to take care of Brandy for a week.

But in this deep, dark world of the internet, are these women safe from fake accounts? Yes, assures Bivin. "If the gender on a user's Facebook profile is male, they are instantly blocked from HTW. Apart from this, we have other checks in place that can almost certainly eliminate a lot of spam. We also engage with some of the top ethical hackers in the country to ensure that the app is safe. In case fake profiles do find their way into the app, we have a ‘Report’ option that users can utilise to take down the profile," he says.

So ladies, what are you waiting for? Download the app and make new friends!
