The Delhi University (DU) cut offs have always hit the headlines. But this time, with the university setting a rather strange 'zero' cut off for the Ph.D Mathematics course, all it has attracted is flak and criticism. And quite a bit of ridicule.
"The minimum qualification", as the DU authorities have put it allows SC/ST candidates to appear for the interview, no matter how absymal their marks are. While they stand a shot at getting some of the most sought after seats in the country, the general category's cut off stands at a whopping 94 marks.
Understandably, Twitter has had a field day. Unable to digest the fact that they might have "a professor who scored zero marks", several users on Twitter slammed the varsity's move. We've handpicked a few of them for you here:
