No, Sundar Pichai was not from a 'poor family' and he never spoke about NEET. It's a WhasApp hoax
In the flurry of random memes and the bra-zen backlash that followed the conduct of NEET on May 7, there was a curious picture post that started popping up on WhatsApp and Facebook that featured Google CEO Sundar Pichai speaking about, you guessed it, NEET.
Though the language used in the picture-post is so ridiculously riddled with mistakes that it couldn't possibly have been said by the Google boss, we decided to check his Twitter and Facebook feeds anyway. As we suspected, Pichai has been posting about everything from football to Google Glass but nothing about India, Modi, Tamil Nadu or NEET.
The picture, which carried two random attributions — Copenhagen University Press and The Business Outsider — neither of which seem to have spoken to Pichai in the recent past, quotes Pichai as saying that he is from a "poor family" and that he shares the pain of "medical students". It also says that he sees exams like NEET as a "clear threat" to common people and how if he had had to face an exam like NEET "he would never have become a CEO".

Incidentally, Wiki has it on record that after being born in Madurai, Sundar studied in a CBSE School in Chennai and finished at the Vana Vani School inside IIT-Madras. He then studied at IIT Kharagpur and went on to Stanford and Wharton!
Giving the whole Kerala bra-stripping incident a mention as he says that the "government strips down students like terrorists" to humiliate them. He also asks people to "pray" for justice. Go figure. The icing on the cake is that they've even misspelt his name, adding an extra 't' for emphasis - Sundar Pichai would have been in tears.
Among the pages that have been sharing this gem is a page called Tamil Samuthayam — incidentally, plenty of the people who saw the post called it out to be a fake and cautioned others from liking and sharing it.
