With the outbreak of Coronavirus, many schools and colleges have declared holidays so that the disease does not spread. Impartus, a leading video platform for lecture capture and enables automatic audio-video recording and distribution of classroom lectures has announced that they will provide free live virtual classes for schools, colleges and universities. Amit Mahensaria, Co-founder and CEO of Impartus who wants students to make the most of these classes, says, "Two days ago, one of our employees came to the office worried about her kids. We got to know that while the exams were coming close, the schools were going to close because of a rising fear of contracting of Coronavirus. Most of the schools are yet to cover the syllabus or they want to do revision. Since Impartus provides a live virtual classes option to various educational institutions and corporates, we thought of providing this option for free to schools, colleges and universities. Students are the ones who can't afford to pay. We have announced it only today and hope to rope in many colleges and schools so that  students can make the most of it."

Amit is confident that students can clear their doubts through their live visual classes. Explaining how students access the classes, he says, "Students can log in to live.impartus.com and register themselves. Similarly, the teacher or professor can register themselves. If the teacher wants to conduct classes from 5 pm to 6 pm then you will get an email about it. You can log in into the website and directly access the class. There is no need to download the app on your phone. One can think of it as a video conferencing solution designed for education."

Students can also interact with their teachers to clear their doubts. The platform also provides for real-time two-way video conference classes. Amit and his team are in talks with AICTE so that they can implement it in their affiliated institutions. When we asked Amit of who can use it while the students are already writing their board exams, he says, "Apart from class X and XII, other students have their exams at the end of the month. They can make the most of these live classes. Even degree students can choose to use our platform for live visual classes."

Here are some advantages of free  live visual classes on Impartus
Amit believes that online classes are different from online meetings. He says, "In an online class, one can revisit the classes to see and understand what the teacher has taught. While students who have attended the classes will be able to revise it and students who have not attended it will be able to learn from scratch. They can watch the important portions of the recording. In an online class, the engaging of students is very important. The teacher will be able to make out who is not participating in the interaction and ask them if they have really understood what is taught. Apart from this, the teacher can conduct a quiz at the end of the class. This will help students to be attentive throughout the class. "
