After getting AACSB  accreditation in 2018, Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) has got listed among the top global MBA schools in the QS 2020 Masters in Management (MIM) Rankings. The QS MIM rankings evaluate schools on Employability, Alumni Outcomes, Value for Money, Thought Leadership, and Class & Faculty Diversity. Until 2019, only three IIMs were part of the QS MIM rankings - IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta.

Not just the ranking, the IIMU's flagship two year MBA programme is listed in the 101+ category among other 129 programmes from 28 countries. Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur thinks that it is the efforts of the faculty and talented students that have helped IIMU earn this global recognition. He says, “It is a matter of pride for IIMU and the MBA programme to receive this global recognition. The two year MBA programme is designed in such a way that it gives transformation experience for the students and develop them into socially and highly skilled managers. Our students receive a thorough grounding in the key management disciplines with an emphasis on applying their knowledge ethically and responsibly. Therefore, we look forward to continuing to grow and build on our solid relationship with partners in all sectors of the Indian industry."

Meanwhile, Pankaj Patel, Chairman of IIM Udaipur says, “Last year, IIMU became the youngest Institute in the country to receive the AACSB accreditation (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and joined the elite group of 5 per cent of the world’s B-schools. Being in the top 129 programmes in the world is an important milestone for a young Institute like IIM Udaipur and confirms that IIMU is well on its way to attaining its long-term objective of becoming a globally recognised management institute. These achievements are a testimony to IIMU’s approach and practices which are comparable to the best management institutions in the world."

Apart from its regular MBA programme, PhD programme and one year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management, the institute recently launched the one year MBA programme in Digital Enterprise Management for people who have experience in the industry. This programme which will be starting in April 2020 aims to help managers and professionals in developing their skills in digital business enterprises where conventional management skills no longer apply.
