Razorfish Swim University (RSU) was started in 2016 by Zubair Mohammed Iftekhar, "to raise awareness about the importance of swimming since, every year, over 29,000 deaths occur due to drowning in India alone." Since then, the American Red Cross certified water safety instructor has been teaching swimming by partnering with hotels (currently, they have partnered with Hyatt Place), where he conducts his classes. Since three years, they have even conducted their annual swimming competition at the Gachibowli Stadium. So, how did this idea of a swim tour come about? "I have had the chance to swim at the Hamdan Sports Complex and I thought to myself, 'Why can't I get enthusiasts from Hyderabad to experience the advanced facilities and experienced coaches?' And while we are at it, one could tour Dubai too," says the 28-year-old. The coaches will focus on improving speed and working on the technique of swimmers and those who are beginners, don't worry, you too will benefit abundantly from the coaches. "I want youngsters to take inspiration from the coaches and the facility and work harder towards becoming better swimmers," he says.

This is their debut tour and with the help of it, Zubair intends to close in on the gap of seconds that differentiates a winner from runners-up. "These coaches have a different level of experience. They will teach you how to handle yourself in a competition. They will analyse how you are moving and offer advice on how you can improve," says Zubair, who was born in Saudi Arabia and is currently based out of Hyderabad. "If this trip is successful, we would like to organise one to the US because the facilities and the training offered there are very different," he adds.

Zubair, who pursued engineering from Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, states the very intention of starting something like Razorfish Swim University was to, "give sports an equal chance. Because in this country, the stress is more on education." Something along the same lines happened to him as well. When he was eight-years-old, he was already a professional swimmer, but then lost touch with the sport. It was when he travelled to the US to pursed Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago that he became a swimming instructor and pursued several certification courses. He doesn't want other youngsters to lose touch, or worse, never know the thrill of swimming, hence, this tour is a simple way of keeping things interesting while keeping the spirit of swimming alive.

Apart from the sports complex, here are some of the places you can visit:
- Ferrari World Abu Dhabi: The first Ferrari-branded theme park situated on Yas Island. The world's fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa, is situated here
- Global Village: Experience cuisines and shop products from across the world at this internationally-themed, multicultural festival park
