How many start-ups can a youngster helm at the age of 21? Parushuram Savari has started three and looks like another one is on its way too. This youngster whose family is settled in Zaheerabad attained the 112nd rank and bagged a seat in BV Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT), but dropped out in his third year to concentrate on his start-ups alone. "I learnt a lot at BVRIT, but I wanted my start-ups to have all the attention," says the serial entrepreneur.
Parushuram started Amprint in March 2017 which is into the business of printing t-shirts, flexes, posters and other material for college events. Even though he went into a loss on his very first order, he did not get bogged down and continued to work hard. Today, they have completed 12,000 orders coming in from New Delhi, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and more. On their list of clients are colleges like Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, MLR Institute of Technology and many others. "I have a Diploma in Graphic Design and Photography so it came in handy when I started," says the youngster. He was born in Magdumpur, a village in Karnataka.
By the way, he is also pursuing an MBA and BSc Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University. So he hasn't stopped believing in learning at all! Today, they have their own printing facility in Kukatpally and on the same premise, they have their office too. With the aim of promoting talent, Parushuram started Propulus in August 2018. Think of it as a community of artists, he suggests. They have conducted eight workshops to date on doodling, mandala art and more. They have conducted these workshops in Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. Their latest and third start-up Caster Media already has PUBG India on their client list. This start-up livetsreams events and also offers services like photography and videography. Did you know he is also a wedding photographer for four years and has received two awards for his photography skills from BVRIT.
Phew! We are exhausted by just running through the list of his achievements. We wonder how Parushuram manages. And he explains it in one word, delegation! "We have presidents for every start-up, we also hire interns when we need additional hands," he explains. When the youngster says that he wants to settle by the age of 26 and retire by 27, we are stunned. But he wants to do so to serve the country. "I want to ensure that my start-ups are self-sustainable and by 27, I would like to work with the government," he says passionately.
