Licenced Aircraft Engineers
It is projected that airlines will require around 33,000 new aircrafts by the year 2035 – which by implication would create a requirement for 5,00,000 new Licenced Aircraft Engineers (LAE), but herein lays the catch – this industry does not compromise on quality and safety. With the prolific demand for LAEs, HAA has been a pioneer and a specialist in this field.
HAA is currently a DGCA CAR 147 (Basic) training organisation dedicated to training aspiring LAEs and technicians. They have a tie-up with the Airworks India Engineering, a DGCA CAR 145 Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhauling (AMRO) for providing the mandatory practical training and maintenance experience on live operational aircraft and an operational technical environment. Additionally, HAA conducts a five-year course, which in turn is a joint venture with an EASA approved Part 145 AMRO. This training eventually will qualify the candidate as a B1.1/B2 Type Rated Engineer on either a narrow body aircraft like an Airbus A320/Boeing 737 or a wide-bodied aircraft like an Airbus 330/Boeing 777.
Their students are employed in India and all over the world in leading airlines like Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, KLM, Qantas, Indigo, SpiceJet, Vistara, Go Air, Air India, Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Saffron Aviation and so on.
Hindustan Business School (HBS), established in 1994 and affiliated to Bangalore University conducts BCom, BBA and BBA Aviation Management undergraduate three-year full-time degree courses.
