TCS to provide tech-support to  the 12 centres that will host examinees taking the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test

In a state that grows and breeds the most number of engineers every year has a total of over 28,132 candidates who are planning on appearing for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (APEAMCET) 2019 in the district for admission into Engineering and Medical and Agriculture courses.

The test will be held in 12 centres till April 24. The officials found no issues in the mock test conducted in all the centres. Everything has been set ready for the exam.

Of the total students appearing, 3,000 students will take the test daily. The online test is being conducted by the JNTU, Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). It has taken all measures to take care of technical glitches, if any, during the examination. "We have arranged 15 per cent buffer systems at all the centres. Every regional centre will have a test centre. The TCS teams are providing technical support. The teams will be present at all the test centres," APEAMCET convenor Sai Baba said.

Furthermore, to avoid power interruption during the examination, every two centres are provided with a generator. Each centre will have a count down watch to alert teams in case of any technical issue and the technical team will immediately set right the system.

The examination will be conducted on April 20, 21 and 22 for Engineering and April 23 and 24 for Medical and Agriculture, respectively. The test will be held in two sessions — 10 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
