The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is scheduled to release the NEET PG 2026 admit card today, August 24, ahead of the postgraduate medical entrance examination on August 30. The admit card release date has been revised from August 27, as mentioned in the original information bulletin.

For candidates, however, downloading the hall ticket should not be the final step. The document will carry the exact test centre address and reporting details, information that was not available in the earlier test-city intimation. NBEMS has advised candidates to familiarise themselves with the centre location at least a day before the examination.

Check these details immediately

After downloading the admit card through the NBEMS applicant login, candidates should carefully check their personal details and examination information. Preserve the hall ticket for the examination and for future reference. It is advisable to take the colour printout of the admit card to the examination centre along with a colour photocopy of their SMC/NMC registration certificate. The admit card will not be sent by post.

Candidates must also read the reporting instructions. The reporting window will close 30 minutes before the test starts, and reaching the examination venue premises after the prescribed reporting time will not guarantee entry. NBEMS has made it clear that late candidates will not be permitted to take the examination.

Candidates should also remember that identity verification can include photograph capture, Face ID verification, biometric authentication, signature and thumb impression. No additional time will be granted for delays arising from these verification procedures.
