The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell is set to release the Maharashtra NEET UG Revised Merit List 2026 today, August 23. The revised schedule has been issued for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses through the Maharashtra state counselling process.
The merit list will be an important announcement for candidates before the choice-filling stage begins. Those who find any discrepancy in the revised provisional merit list can submit grievances on August 24, up to 5 pm. The final merit list and seat matrix are scheduled to be published on August 25.
The Maharashtra CET Cell revised the schedule following changes to the All India Quota counselling timeline—the revised timetable was issued through Notice No. 10 dated August 19.
Candidates included in the final merit list can participate in the online choice-filling process from August 26. The preference window will remain open until August 29 at 5:30 pm. Students must carefully select their preferred colleges and courses, as these choices will be considered for CAP Round 1 allotment.
The CAP Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 30. Candidates who receive an allotment must then complete physical joining at the respective college between August 31 and September 4. They must report with their original documents and the prescribed fee.
