The Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, will release the NEET UG Round 1 seat allotment result 2026 on August 24. The authority has published a revised counselling schedule due to changes in the MCC AIQ counselling schedule. All candidates on the merit list who have filled choices are eligible for seat allotment, but allotment is based purely on merit ranks.
Release of seat allotment: August 24, 2026
Reporting begins at the allotted college: August 25, 2026
Last date to confirm admission: September 3, 2026
Deadline for resignation or cancellation of admission: September 3, 2026
Choosing upgradation option: August 25 to September 3, 2026
Students will have the option to 'upgrade' after the Round 1 seat allotment if they are aspiring for a better allotment. DME MP will release the upgrade seat allotment separately, and the date will be finalised after the Round 1 allotment process concludes.
DME MP revised MBBS and BDS counselling schedule comes after the MCC's revised schedule for AIQ counselling. Various states like Punjab, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have already extended the dates of counselling. The state-level round 1 seat allotment results will be released only after the AIQ round 1 allotment.
MCC is going to release the final seat allotment result for AIQ counselling on August 22, and the reporting process follows next. If any student gets a better college in the state-level counselling of MP, they can surrender the AIQ seat and take admission to the state-level seat.
