The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has extended the option registration facility for the first phase of MBBS and BDS admissions under KEAM 2026. Candidates can now register, delete or rearrange their choices until August 24, 2026, at 11 am. The extension has been announced through a fresh notification on the official CEE Kerala website.

The first-phase provisional allotment will be published on August 25, followed by the final allotment on August 27. Candidates who receive a seat must then complete the prescribed fee payment and admission formalities within the specified deadline.

The revised notification also provides an option to register for 15% All India Quota seats in private self-financing dental colleges. In addition, MBBS seats at Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Palakkad have been included in this phase.

CEE Kerala NEET UG Round 1 Choice Filling 2026 Instructions

  • Candidates should visit the official CEE Kerala website and log in to the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal using their credentials. They need to open the option-registration facility, select their preferred colleges and courses and arrange them according to priority

  • Candidates who have already entered options can still delete or rearrange their preferences before the August 24 deadline. Only the options available in the portal at the time the facility closes will be considered for allotment

  • Allotment will be based on the candidate's eligibility, merit, and the options registered. Candidates should therefore avoid filling choices casually and include only those colleges and courses they are genuinely willing to join
