The Commissionerate of Higher Education will close the AP RCET Final Phase Web Options 2026 window today, August 23, and this is the last chance to participate in PhD admission counselling. The admission authority will not conduct further rounds of PhD counselling, and the vacant seats (if any) will be carried forward to the upcoming academic session. If you wish to edit the web options, the window will be unlocked on August 24.
Candidates choosing web options must check the vacancies available for the final phase so they can choose universities accordingly. Also, the web options portal will show only universities and PhD programmes with vacant seats. It is important to assign a preference number/order to each university selected through the web option window.

The responsibility of CHE AP will conclude with the seat allotment process. Further, universities will be responsible for assigning a research guide, allocating courses, and carrying out PhD course-related work for the scholars. Therefore, the selected candidates need to be in touch with the Head of the Department of the respective subject for further formalities.
